This family wanted a characterful retreat at the bottom of their garden where they could relax and hang out together and with their friends away from the main house – a mini escape with a ‘glamping’ feel. Well insulated, they can have cosy family suppers in the winter or magical open air gatherings in the summer. The outside is made of Western red Cedar shingles,it’s naturaly occuring oils, preserve the wood. The doors and windows were all reclaimed from an old school house. The client also wanted us to build a wall separating the garden from the drive so we decided to make it out of wood complete with a door and window – stylish and practical!
‘Chris is the very clever, creative man that transformed our garden and built us the best Shackadelic shack ever….’ Sophie
