This shack was built as a garden office with skylights and bi-fold doors which can be thrown open in the summer. It is clad in western red cedar which has natural oils that preserve the wood. The interior floorboards were reclaimed and all the timber used was ethically sourced. It has a lovely wood burning stove, and is extremely well insulated meaning it is warm and cosy in the winter too. We built a quirky but stylish shelving system out of old wine crates for this cabin. The green roof addds to the insulation and gives the shack a more attractive look, complementing the garden.
